Barnyard Rumble...

Last weekend I rode to Barnyard Rumble, a hillbilly/rockabilly event in the north of seeland. On the ride home sunday, I had good company of James on his cool knucklehead bobber:

Summer riding...

For the last month it has been hot and dry summer in Denmark, well except for a couple of days with rain, and just perfect weather for long rides with sleepovers in tent out there. 

Last weekend in june we fired up the old hogs and rode to Ol' Bike Meet in Jutland. The meet was hosted by the really nice people at Mosten MC, a local bike club. Around 20 old american bikes showed up so it was not a big event, but on the other hand just what we were looking for. A really cosy weekend on the road among a bunch of nice people.

Last week I took "Mighty Robert" on a 5 days solo trip around the country, again with the tent on the luggage rack. Not a single drop of rain and just hot'n'sunny summer on beautiful backroads all the way. Ad daily swimming in the blue sea, now that's life.

On the last day, during our way home to Copenhagen, I realized that we have now clocked 10.000 km together. I guess you can call that a small jubilee and, until now, a happy fairytale!...

       

Ghetto Bash...

Last weekend I took Mighty Robert to the first Ghetto Bash, hosted by the old school car & motorcycle club "Memorians 13". The event was very well organized and just a joy for everybody:

The first ride out in 2014...

The first ride out of town in 2014 on a pretty windy and cold, but also dry and sunny, saturday the 15th. of march. The ride was also the first real test of the new larger engine sprocket on Mighty Robert. The gearing seems to be just perfect now. He is still pulling like a bull, but he is now more relaxed at longdistance high cruisespeed. Finally, it was the first time that we had company of our buddy Frisco on his newly build WLC bobber. There was no real problems with any of the old machines, so the ride was just a joy for everybody. 2014 here we come!...
