Down memory lane...
Well, we all have to start somewhere and we all have our own way down the road...
My motorcycle adventure startet around twenty years ago with a lovely Triumph Bonneville from 1970. Then came the strong Moto Guzzi 850T from 1974, then the unforgetable Norton Commando Mk3 from 1975. And then, then I finally entered the paraland of old american iron.
So here she is, my first Harley 45-inch/750cc from 1930. A true beauty, if you ask me, and always, always, so reliable. Never had a single breakdown through the years and through thousands and thousands of miles...
So one might ask, why did I let this beauty fly away?...
Well, because I got the chance to get this Harley VL 74-inch/1200cc 1931:
And after 3000 troublefree miles on the new bike, there is no regrets. This uncle is pulling like a train - and he seems as much reliable, as the good old one. At least so far...
